Bon Bini! Welcome to Aruba!

Having a reputation for being one of the most welcoming islands in the Caribbean, Aruba enjoys almost 770,000 visitors every year. Its practically perfect weather, pristine beaches, and world-class meeting facilities make the city a perfect destination for a simple getaway or any type of corporate event. Getting to Aruba is easy enough – the ever-expanding airport even has a terminal designed specifically for those traveling to and from the United States!

Visitors can enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the activities that come with it. In addition to the snorkeling and scuba diving at the many coral colonies full of colorful marine life, the coast of Aruba is one of the most exciting to explore. Underwater tours, such as the Atlantis Submarines Tours, are very popular. Aruba is the underwater wreck destination of the Caribbean. There are several wreck sites to discover, and each one is a unique adventure.

Back on land, the weather is always great for a round of golf at the 18-hole Tierra del Sol golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The Tierra del Sol Resort, Spa, and Country Club also serves as a great venue to host an outdoor event. The Arikok National Park is also popular with those interested in getting to know the flora and fauna of the island. Those looking for something slightly different can check out the Aruba Ostrich Farm where you can even see newborn ostriches in the hatchery and incubator.

Aruba also has quite a history, and many historic sites are to be found. The Archaeological Museum of Aruba has tools and artifacts dating all the way back to 2000 B.C.! The island is also home to the birthplace of Catholicism in the Caribbean, with the first church established there, the Chapel of Alto Vista. At night, the entertainment options are everywhere. From dance floors to classy lounges, there is something for everyone. You can even roll the dice at one of the casinos!

Aruba isn’t just for pleasure, though. Those looking to host a meeting or event are sure to find a venue to suit all needs. Aruba has been acknowledged for its excellence in MICE travel by Meetings & Convention magazine, as well as Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine.

The Renaissance Convention Center, located at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, has over 2,000 square meters of meeting space and a large ballroom, and the resort is one of the largest on the island. The Westin Aruba Resort, home of the Casablanca Casino, can hold groups of up to 1,000 people and has six indoor meeting spaces, all equipped with the latest AV equipment. The Aruba Marriott Resort is another great option, with a large outdoor meeting space in addition to it’s indoor meeting rooms and a new ballroom. The new Riu Palace Anillas, an all-inclusive resort, is opening on October of this year, expanding your options even further!
